Aireen's World of Travels and Adventures

~ Written by Aireen Navarro ~
While growing up in a small city in the southern part of the Philippines, it seemed impossible to get out there and see the world. The world loomed mysterious and exciting, with it the feeling of anticipation that there's a million things to discover if one just sets his or her mind into getting out there and explore!

Wherever one grew up, be it in a remote town of less than a hundred residents or a big, cosmopolitan city of millions of people busily minding their own business, one can have an adventure. One need not spend a lot of one's hard earnings to have an adventure, to travel somewhere. Just look around you and turn to your imagination....

Once your imagination's turned on, you get moving. Move to where? Imagination on what? Hey, walking around your neighborhood, or doing errands picking up items from the supermarket or even going to school or to work can be an adventure in itself. Just look at it from a different perspective, not focusing on yourself too much but observe how the world, in essence, the people around you move through their own's journeys in life.

As per Robert Louis Stevenson:

'For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go....

I travel for travel's sake....

The GREAT AFFAIR is to move....'
